LKAB and RISE visits Harads Industrial Park

During a sunny vinter day in April, Harads Arctic Heat welcomed representatives from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and LKAB for a site visit. The visitors were given a tour of the facility, and discussions focused on technology, future opportunities, and the next steps needed to support the industry’s climate transition.
Harads Arctic Heat has achieved fully automated, continuous biochar production, powered by a control system developed in-house. The initiative reflects the growing momentum in northern Sweden, where new collaborations and innovations are shaping the region’s sustainable future. 🍃
